Description
Course Overview
A physics foundation course for Class 9 and 10 students who plan to prepare for IIT JEE after Class 10. It covers the core topics of school physics in short, focused video lectures, building the concepts and problem-solving habits that JEE preparation depends on.
What You'll Learn
Units and measurements: measuring instruments, errors, fundamental quantities, scalars and vectors
Motion: speed, velocity, acceleration, equations of motion, laws of motion and turning effect
Work, energy, power and pressure
Waves: wave equation and sound waves
Electricity and magnetism: current, Ohm's law, series and parallel circuits, generators, motors, household electricity, electromagnets and transformers
Light: reflection, refraction, total internal reflection, mirrors, lenses and power of lenses
Thermal physics: kinetic theory, thermal expansion, heat transfer, specific heat capacity and latent heat
Nuclear physics: radioactivity, radioactive decay, isotopes, half-life, fission and fusion
Course Content
8 chapters with 41 video lectures, about 4 hours 15 minutes in total
