Description
Course Overview
A complete chemistry course for Class 9 and 10 students following IGCSE, GCSE or Cambridge O Level, which also works as a chemistry foundation for CBSE and ICSE students heading towards JEE or NEET. Every topic is explained in simple English, starting from the very basics, in short lectures that are easy to revise.
What You'll Learn
Physical chemistry: states of matter, kinetic particle theory, relative and molecular mass, the mole concept and calculations, atomic structure and Bohr's model, gas laws, rate of reaction, chemical equations and chemical bonding
Organic chemistry: alkanes, alkenes, alcohols, carboxylic acids, polymers and environmental chemistry
Inorganic chemistry: the periodic table and its trends, oxides, halogens, noble gases, energetics of reactions, reversible reactions, redox, transition elements, the reactivity series, extraction of metals, alloys, alkali metals, corrosion, acids, bases and salts, and electrolysis
Course Content
3 sections with 39 video lectures, about 4 hours 40 minutes in total
A quiz at the end of each section
